What's the goal of the Access Log Manager? What kind of information will it provide you with?
An access log includes a record of all the files that have been requested by the visitors while exploring your website. The list is thorough, so when you have a page with two embedded images, for instance, all of the three files shall be in the log, not only the page. An access log normally contains the date, the Operating System, the web browser and the IP address for every file in human-readable form, so you can get an idea about the hottest files on your website. The log, that's also frequently named "raw data", is an addition to the web stats that you normally get with a hosting account, not an alternative. A good example why you could need this kind of a log is if you want to use some software on your personal computer to prepare a report about the website’s overall performance, but you do not want to use the typical graphs and tables which come with the server-generated web statistics.
Access Log Manager in Cloud Hosting

Every single domain you host or subdomain you set up will be listed there and you see an On/Off option next to each of them, so you can easily enable or deactivate the generation of access logs independently for every website that you have. You can save a log to your personal computer by clicking on the Download link that you shall see inside the very same section of the Control Panel. The link will be available even if you deactivate the log generation, so you'll still have access to the data gathered by our system.
